Articulated knee orthosis with adjustable bending angle OT-N-08 (hereinafter referred to as the orthosis) is made of elastic neoprene jersey material, 2 stabilizing metal hinged splints, a polycentric hinge with adjustable bending angle, a belt strap, an elastic strap, Velcro fasteners and metal buckles of the frame type. The detachable orthosis is easy to put on and take off even after serious injuries, when the mobility in the joint is limited or there is significant swelling. This design is most convenient if any medical manipulations and procedures are required during the recovery process.
Purpose: provides rigid fixation and lateral stabilization of the knee joint, protects against extension and flexion; reduces pain; allows for early mobilization after injuries and operations.
